After working at 6 different law firms and agencies, Abel decided to go into practice for himself.  His practice is primarily dedicated to helping injured people receive the treatment and care they need.  Abel greatly enjoys fighting on their behalf, because each case is an opportunity to help someone who is hurting.  Insurance companies fight hard to take advantage of these injured people - Abel fights harder to ensure that they get what they deserve.

Abel attended the University of Washington where he received a B.A. in Political Science and a B.A. in Law, Societies and Justice.  During his tenure as a UW student, Abel served as a Political Associate for The Borgen Project working towards eliminating global poverty through domestic legislation.  During this time, he also interned with the Washington State House of Representatives.

After graduating from the UW, Abel immediately began his legal education at Mississippi College School of Law.  After completing two-thirds of his legal education in Jackson, MS, Abel moved back to Washington State to attend the University of Washington School of Law.  Abel graduated with honors.  

As a person of Ethiopian heritage, Abel performs regular community service with the Ethiopian Community of Seattle.  He also plays the drums for his church in Edmonds, WA.
