Adam J. Babinat was born and raised in Waterloo, Iowa. Currently, he is a lawyer in the Cedar Valley,having joined the Cedar Falls-based firm Redfern, Mason, Larsen & Moore, P.L.C in June 2019. Prior to joining RMLM, Adam began his career in Dubuque, Iowa at the law firm of O'Connor & Thomas, P.C. Licensed in Iowa and Illinois, Adam operates a general practice which includes real estate, estate planning, estate administration, construction law and litigation, business law and litigation, and insurance defense.

Adam obtained his legal education at Drake University Law School, where he graduated in 2017. While at Drake Law, he developed his legal writing and reasoning skills at the Neal and Bea Smith Legal Clinic, as the publications editor at the Drake Journal of Agricultural Law, and as a finalist in the Drake Law 2017 Iowa Supreme Court Day Competition. As part of the 2017 Iowa Supreme Corut Day Competition, Adam presented an oral argument before the Iowa Supreme Court. He also won the M. Gene Blackburn Award for the best appellate brief in the competition.
