Biography
My practice has an emphasis in health care related boards, including the Tennessee Board of Medical Examiners and the Tennessee Board of Nursing. I am currently a faculty member at the Vanderbilt Center for Professional Health, where I teach a Continuing Medical Education course, which is a part of the Center’s Maintaining Proper Boundaries and Prescribing Controlled Drugs curriculum.
Prior to joining Frost Brown Todd, I developed the administrative law practice at Thompson Burton, a boutique business law firm in Franklin, Tennessee. Prior to joining Thompson Burton, I served as a law clerk to the Honorable William J. Haynes, Jr., Chief Judge for U.S. District Court, Middle District of Tennessee.
I am a graduate of Vanderbilt University Law School, where I served as the vice president of the Vanderbilt Bar Association and president of the Native American Law Student Association. I previously served as an intern to both former Nashville Mayor Karl Dean and the Metropolitan Nashville District Attorney’s Office, and I clerked for the Secretary of State Administrative Procedures Division administrative law judges for the state of Tennessee.
