I am a First Coast native and graduate of Episcopal High School and am proud to serve the community where I've spent most of my life. For nearly a decade after law school I worked as an insurance defense lawyer where I represented businesses and banks, but eventually I came to feel that I wasn't actually helping people, which is why I went to law school in the first place. When the market crashed and times started to get really tough for people I began to feel called to start a consumer law practice focusing on bankruptcy and all areas of the debt and credit related problems that are so common in this economy, and I've never looked back. I finally feel that I am able to use my law degree to make a difference for people, and with the expansion of my firm to include two very good friends of mine (who are also stellar attorneys) we are able to help more people with their issues and still provide the personal touch that is so important.
