I am a defense attorney with an active litigation practice that focuses on personal injury and property claims.  I have defended local and national companies in asbestos litigation, handled multi-million dollar casualty cases, and managed construction defect cases for both general contractors and subcontractors.

I have a wide variety of trial, arbitration and mediation experience.  I have successfully argued in front of the Oregon Court of Appeals and the Land Use Board of Appeals.  I have also tried ten cases to verdict, including two recent defense verdicts on multi-tenant construction defect cases. The Best Lawyers in America, a respected guide to the nation's most outstanding attorneys, lists me in the categories of construction litigation and product liability litigation defense.

After graduating from the University of Oregon, I clerked with Lane County Circuit Court Judge Lyle Velure, where I gained firsthand knowledge of effective motion and trial practice.  I spent three years with the Medford, Oregon firm Frohnmayer Deatherage, and five years with a large Northwest law firm defending individuals and businesses in civil lawsuits.
