Allen focuses his practice on divorce and family law matters, including custody, visitation, child support, alimony and prenuptial agreements. He is a member of the Lawyer’s Club of Atlanta, the Atlanta Bar Association (Family Law Section), and the State Bar of Georgia (Family Law section). Allen received his B.A. degree from Georgia College and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Walter F. George Law School, Mercer University. He has been licensed and practicing law since 1985. He has a comprehensive understanding of complex issues that arise in divorce and family law. He teaches Continuing Legal Education to other lawyers on subjects including: Division of Property, Child Custody, Child Support, Domestic Violence, Prenuptial Agreements and Division of Retirement Benefits and Stock Options. Allen is AV rated by Martindale Hubbell, the highest rating possible and has been recognized as one of the Top Attorneys in Georgia in Atlanta Magazine, Georgia Super Lawyers and Georgia Trend.
