Biography
Ms. Grasso has been an associate with the Litigation practice of Miller, Miller & Canby since 2007. She has generally focused her practice on the areas of eminent domain/condemnation, business and real estate litigation, and judgment enforcement.
Before joining the firm, Ms. Grasso served as a law clerk to the Honorable Charles B. Day, Federal Magistrate Judge, United States District Court for the District of Maryland, which provided her with extensive experience in complex civil cases. Ms. Grasso is also a graduate of the Property Tax School (Institute for Professionals in Taxation), which trained her on principles of appraisal and taxation, critical to eminent domain and property tax appeal cases.
Ms. Grasso is involved in her state and local bar associations in a variety of capacities. She is a fellow of the 2012-2013 MSBA Leadership Academy class, as well as the Montgomery County Bar Association 2013-2014 Leadership Development Academy.
While attending law school, Ms. Grasso clerked with the international law firm, Russin Vecchi & Heredia Bonetti, in its Dominican Republic office, and for Mercado Law Firm, PLC in Virginia. She also participated in legal internships with Bread for the City, Hogar Hispano, and Ayuda, Inc. in the District of Columbia. She was a member of the Domestic Violence Clinic at Georgetown, through which she litigated civil protective orders in the D.C. Superior Court. Prior to law school, she studied and worked in Mexico City, Mexico.
