Biography
Amy Olson has been practicing immigration law since 2007. She has handled a wide variety of immigration matters, including family based petitions, employment based petitions, applications for adjustment of status, consular processing, temporary work visas, petitions for asylum, U visas, self-petitions for battered spouses of US citizens and permanent residents, naturalization, and others. She enjoys helping her clients navigate the complicated immigration system in order to reach their goals.
A native of Greenville, South Carolina, Ms. Olson was recognized as one of the Best and Brightest 35 and Under by Greenville Business Magazine in 2011 and she was chosen to be a member of the Spring 2012 class of the Diversity Leaders Initiative at The Riley Institute at Furman University. She is fluent in Spanish.
Ms. Olson earned a juris doctor degree from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, in 2006. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Latin American Studies from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia, in 1999. She is a member of the Carolinas Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), the South Carolina Bar, and the Greenville County Bar Association.
