Amy L. Miller attended the University of Maryland and received a B.A. degree in government and politics, and a B.S. degree in family studies in 2002. Thereafter Ms. Miller attended St. John's University School of Law and received her J.D. in 2006. Ms. Miller was admitted to the New Jersey Bar in 2006, to the New York Bar in 2007 and to the New Jersey State Federal Bar in 2006. Ms. Miller heads up the family law practice at the law firm of Singleton LLC.  She has had a long career focusing solely on divorce and family law throughout New Jersey including: divorce, custody, visitation, alimony, domestic violence, appeals, prenuptial agreements and mediation. Ms. Miller has been involved in the New Jersey State Bar Associate in several capacities throughout her career, including serving as a Co-Chair of the Young Lawyers Sub-Committee of the Family Law Section and serving on the Executive Committee of the Young Lawyers Division. Ms. Miller was a Trustee on the Morris County Bar Association. She is an Associate Editor on the New Jersey Family Lawyer publication and previously served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Young Lawyers Division's Dictum publication. Ms. Miller has published several articles in these publications. Ms. Miller was the Chair of the District X Fee Arbitration Committee, she volunteers as a Family Law Early Settlement Panelist in Morris and Sussex counties and she is a Volunteer Attorney with Jersey Battered Women's Services. She has spent over a decade presenting Continuing Legal Education seminars which has included to: the Family Law Section of the State Bar, the Morris County Bar Association and at the State Bar's Annual Meeting and Convention. Ms. Miller is a board member on the Board of her synagogue.  In the earlier part of her career, Ms. Miller was named as a "Rising Star" by New Jersey Super Lawyers in several years, and in recent years has been named as a "Super Lawyer."  She was the recipient of the Young Lawyers Division's "Service to the Bar" award in 2011.  In 2019, 2020 and 2021, Ms. Miller was named one of the “Best Lawyers for Families” through the New Jersey Family publication.  Ms. Miller completed the Family Mediation Training and has enjoyed expanding her experience in family law to mediation over the past several years.
