Andrea has been an associate with Geraghty, O’Loughlin & Kenney since 2008.  Andrea defends healthcare providers and entities in medical malpractice matters in Minnesota and Wisconsin.  She is also experienced in defending healthcare providers before their respective professional licensing boards.  She further defends healthcare providers and entities in Civil Rights actions in federal court.

Additionally, Andrea advises healthcare entities and providers on health, employment, business, premises liability and HIPAA-related legal issues.  Andrea has a special interest in HIPAA; particularly, the HIPAA Security Rule and its implication for legal business associates.

Andrea is a registered nurse, and she worked as a behavioral health nurse prior to becoming an attorney.
