Biography
As the son of schoolteachers and immigrants, Drew has known the value of hard work and determination for literally as long as he can remember. Beginning his career as a teacher and coach, Drew learned that it wasn’t enough just to know the subject. He had to be able to effectively communicate what he knew.
That experience has carried over to Drew’s law practice. After nearly 15 years as a litigator, Drew realizes and prizes effective communication. Whether he is writing a brief, arguing in court, advising a business, or talking to a junior-high student, Drew makes sure they understand what they’re dealing with and why it matters.
For Drew, the practice of law isn’t just about “winning” (although he likes winning). At heart, Drew’s practice focuses on serving clients – honorably and ethically. After nearly 15 years in practice, Drew has litigated a full spectrum of cases – from commercial disputes involving hundreds of millions of dollars to making sure an auto-body shop completed the repairs on a grandfather’s car. Drew gives each client and each claim the respect they deserve, and he always works for the best result in all of his cases.
Drew has served as a Director and Chair of the Board of Literacy Instruction for Texas. He is the President-Elect of the Dallas Asian-American Bar Association and a director of the Dallas Bar Association.
When he’s not at work, Drew spends as much time as he can with his wife and daughter. He also enjoys working out, cooking, and watching the LSU Tigers.
