I have been practicing law in New Hampshire since 1994.  I started my legal career as a law clerk for the Superior Court.  Therefore, unlike many new lawyers, I was "in court" every day I went to work.  After my clerkship finished, I worked in civil law firms in Nashua, Concord and Bedford, N.H.  For the last ten years, I have been an associate, and now a director with Hamblett & Kerrigan, P.A.  I concentrate my practice in civil and appellate litigation.  While most of my work is family law, I have also tried a number of cases involving boundary line and title issues, contract disputes and personal injury matters.  I have appeared before the New Hampshire Supreme Court on numerous occassions, and have successfully litigated, on appeal, cases which have, for instance, clarified how parties can "agree" to modify a parenting plan, whether changing a beneficiary on an investment account during a pending divorce violates the automatic financial restraining order, and whether a violation of the Consummer Protection Act requires an intentional act on the part of the seller.
