I have been in solo practice since August 1994. Until about 2007, the primary focus of my practice was business litigation.  In addition to the standard business litigation practice, I found success in taking business cases for plaintiffs on contingent fee, opening up a relatively untapped market of clients with good claims and no ability to pay out-of-pocket. 

Before becoming a solo, I worked for Hill, Farrer and Burrill in LA and Smaltz and Anderson, also LA (no longer exists). I learned to both provide and compete with the services provided by the "best" large firms, for a fraction of the cost.

I now perform general counsel services to Global Cash Card, a wage debit card company located in Irvine, CA, and one of the leaders in its industry, in addition to mainaining my business litigation practice. I have also served as outside general counsel to a Nuclear facilities maintenance company.
