Biography
Andrew Wier is a shareholder at Habush Habush & Rottier practicing at the firm’s Kenosha office, his practice includes all types of personal injury claims. Prior to joining Habush Habush & Rottier S.C., Andrew served for five years as an Assistant District Attorney in the Racine County District Attorney’s Office. He has tried more than 30 cases to jury in his career.
Andrew authored the chapter on pretrial motion practice in “Civil Procedure Before Trial, Wisconsin” published by the Wisconsin State Bar in 2018. Two articles he co-wrote with attorney Jesse Blocher entitled “Earn Your Stripes, Part 1: How to Get Civil Trial Experience” and “Earn Your Stripes, Part 2: How to Get Through a Civil Trial” were published in Wisconsin Lawyer in 2015, and in 2016 he wrote an article published in the Wisconsin Law Journal entitled “Making the jump from criminal to civil is more natural than you may think.”

Andrew served as a Police and Fire Commissioner on the Village of Caledonia Police and Fire Commission from 2012 - 2019. He served two terms as President of the Kenosha County Bar Association and continues to be a member of the executive committee. Andrew is a member of the Racine County Bar Association and the Wisconsin Association for Justice.
Andrew received his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin Law School in December 2008. While a law student, Andrew worked in the Wisconsin Department of Justice, the United States Attorney’s Office, for the Western District of Wisconsin, and the Rock County District Attorney’s Office and was an active participant in the law school’s Mock Trial team. He received a B.A. in History, Political Science, and African American studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in May 2006. He is actively involved in his church and resides in Caledonia with his wife, Angela, and their four children.
