Andrew Hunstad focuses his practice in the areas of divorce and family law. He has previously represented clients in high-conflict family law matters, recognizing in certain situations such an approach is unavoidable, he believes such disputes further complicate effective co-parenting following the divorce and places an unfair burden on minor children.

He works with and counsels parents, spouses, grandparents and other relatives to resolve their most complex financial and personal issues. Andrew’s goal is to help his client create a fair and dignified settlement. When settlement is not possible, he zealously and diligently advocates for his client through the litigation process. Andrew is an effective communicator, negotiator and problem-solver.

Andrew also represents clients in appellate cases at the Minnesota Court of Appeals.
