As a native Californian, I grew up skate-boarding and surfing with my brothers.  At  about the same time I stood up on a surf board, I decided I wanted to be a criminal lawyer when I grew up.  I was an avid Perry Mason fan and knew that defense work was my calling.  

When I grew up and out of skateboards, I continued my love of action through marathon running, skiing and hiking.  I recently trekked Kilimanjaro, Tanzania.  When I'm not sweating outdoors, I make the prosecution sweat in the court room.  

I studied political science and pre-law courses when an undergraduate at UCLA and joined Delta Gamma sorority.  I thereafter attended and graduated from Loyola Law School.  While at Loyola, I clerked for the California Attorney General's Office in the Criminal Appeals Section.  There, I worked closely with the Attorney General and staff, writing appeals.  Since law school graduation, I have been defending Californians' rights when facing criminal accusations and/or charges.
