My main area of practice includes all aspects of Family Law, including divorce, custody, modifications and litigation.   I treat each case as if it were my own and focus on getting the best possible results for my clients.  My background includes  graduation from Framingham State University, cum laude, with a bachelor of arts degree.  I next attended the University of Pennsylvania for graduate studies.  I then attended New England School of Law, where I received my Juris Doctorate, cum laude,  in 1989.  I was awarded New England scholar status. Recognizing the need to give each case individual attention I co-founded my law firm Karpenski & Schmelkin, LLC, where we give every case our individual attention and priority.
