Biography

I have been in practice since 1995, and am a North Carolina Board Certified Specialist in Workers' Compensation Law. Workers’ Compensation and Social Security Disability are the focus of my work.

I am the State Bar Councilor for the 28th Judicial Bar and a Mountain Area Volunteer Attorney.

Previously, I was president of the WNC Chapter of the N.C. Association of Women Attorneys; a member of the North Carolina Bar Association’s Medico-Legal Liason Committee; treasurer and board member of Pisgah Legal Services; board member of Hangar Hall School for Girls and board member of Pathways, Life After Cancer.
