In reality, this could not be farther from the truth. Estate planning is essential for everyone with people or organizations in their lives about whom they care deeply, whether it be a spouse or partner, children, or charities they support.

It’s about making a plan, while you’re healthy and able, that creates a road map for the distribution of your assets at death. It’s about understanding how trusts and wills work, and learning the importance of creating advance directives like Health Care and Financial Powers of Attorney. It’s about naming guardians for your minor children and naming those persons that you want to carry out your wishes.
