Biography
Anthony A. Ciaccio, Sr. is the head of the personal injury department at Schalk, Ciaccio & Kahn. Anthony’s vast experience as both a trial attorney for a major insurance company and then for a prominent plaintiff’s personal injury firm, gives him the insight to advocate for clients who are injured through the negligence of others.
Anthony began his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney for the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office, gaining real-world trial experience prosecuting both misdemeanors and major felonies. He tried numerous cases while working as an Assistant District Attorney with a tremendous success rate and built a reputation as a fierce courtroom advocate among his peers and colleagues.
Following his time in law enforcement, Anthony applied his trial skills to the field of personal injury, learning the inner workings of the insurance industry from both sides of the aisle. Anthony worked for a major insurance carrier, becoming an expert in how insurance companies value cases, as well as avoid paying out on claims. Anthony then joined a premier personal injury law firm where he applied this knowledge and honed his negotiation skills, fighting for compensation for his clients’ injuries.
