I concentrate my practice in the area of family law, including: dissolution of marriage (divorce); allocation of parenting responsibilities (child custody and visitation); paternity matters; child support; maintenance; and property allocation. I'm experienced in the difficult issues that may arise in divorce and family law matters. AWARDS AND BACKGROUND:

I have won the Lawyergist Client’s Choice Award in 2016, 2019 and 2021. Also, I was designated an Emerging Lawyer by Leading Lawyers in 2019 – 2022. Less than 2% of all lawyers licensed in each state have received the distinction of Emerging Lawyer. Further, I was designated as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers (Thompson Reuters) in 2021 and 2022. My undergraduate education focus was finance. During law school, I volunteered as a Supreme Court Rule 711 law clerk with the Cook County Domestic Violence Legal Clinic. I also volunteered with the John Marshall Law School Voluntary Income Tax Assistance Clinic.
