I help individuals who have been injured by the carelessness or recklessness of others. I believe it's important and my obligation to ensure the rights of those whose lives have been damaged not only physically but also in economic and extremely personal ways because an individual, a corporation, an insurance company, a government entity, or a hospital disregarded a safety rule and needlessly endangered them. In this belief and effort I have argued before both state and federal courts on behalf of individuals, researched and drafted memoranda in premises, uninsured motorist, trucking, and Section 1983 Civil Rights cases, as well as drafted arguments on Appeal. Most of the cases handled by my office settle. However, the five lawyers in our firm, including my brother and father, are trial lawyers. In combination we have tried over 350 jury trials. I am blessed to be a part of a profession and work for a firm that strives to ensure the dignity of every human being, despite power, despite wealth, despite intellect or accomplishment.
