April Ball, J.D., LL.M. in Taxation is the Director of Estate Planning at EP Wealth Advisors ("EPWA")  

Prior to joining EPWA, April was a practicing tax attorney, managing complex trust litigation, drafting advanced estate plans and managing the estates and taxation department of Antonyan Miranda LLP.  Previously April was employed by Wells Fargo Provate Bank where she managed taxable estate settlements and corresponding court actions from the bank's world headquarters in San Francisco. April was also was emplpyed by the Big Four accounting firm KPMG, where she rendered tax opinions, handled litigation, and apportioned state taxes on behalf of professional athletes. She was a Senior Attorney Editor for Thomson Reuters Westlaw, where she drafted transactional documents and attorney practice guides for both California and New York. Finally, April directed attorneys in law firms where she represented companies, athletes, performers and military members in estate and business matters.
