Armand Jawanmardi handles all aspects of immigration law, focusing on family petitions, removal and deportation defense, and criminal immigration. Before beginning his private practice, Mr. Jawanmardi worked at several leading immigration firms in Houston and a non-profit organization dedicated to providing pro-bono representation to unaccompanied minors entering the United States.

Born to an immigrant father, Mr. Jawanmardi understands the significance of helping others legally adjust their status and remain in the United States. He has a strong ability to relate to his clients, easily overcoming any cultural or linguistic barriers. He enjoys the complexity of immigration law and continuously stays on top of new developments in the field.

Mr. Jawanmardi holds a J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law, where he focused his studies on immigration law and was admitted as one of twelve students to participate in The University of Texas School of Law Immigration Clinic in the Spring of 2013. While in the clinic, Mr. Jawanmardi along with his co-counsel, decisively won an asylum case in court. 

Mr. Jawanmardi is admitted to the Texas Bar and is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and Houston Young Lawyers Association. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
