Biography
Originally from Cheraw, South Carolina, Ashley Cole Story graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2012. She began working with J. Lewis Cromer & Associates as a clerk and continued her work as an associate attorney until 2016 when she transitioned to Duff, White & Turner, LLC before establishing her law practice with Andrea White in April of 2017.
As a law student, Ashley was a competing member on the USC School of Law Mock Trial Bar and also served as the Vice President of the USC School of Law Pro Bono Program. She co-chaired the Law School Ambassadors Program and was an active member of the Black Law Students Association.
As a Public Interest Fellow, she clerked for Richland County Court Appointed Special Advocates and S.C. Legal Services. Richland County CASA is a volunteer guardian ad litem program, and S.C. Legal Services provides free legal assistance to low-income residents of the state.
