Astina Shakilyan is dedicated to guiding Californians in vulnerable positions through the overwhelming legal system. A first-generation Armenian-American and the proud daughter of immigrants, Shakilyan's personal experience of injustices within her community inspired her to pursue a career in personal injury law.

Describing her unwavering commitment to her clients, she says, “I take immense pride in advocating for those who are in vulnerable positions and making sure they know I will be there every step of the way.”

Before joining Adamson Ahdoot, Shakilyan served as a public defender at the Los Angeles County Public Defender’s Office. There, she fiercely advocated for her clients during arraignments, motion hearings, and jury trials.

Shakilyan graduated with honors from Southwestern Law School in 2021. She passed the California Bar the same year and is licensed to practice in all California state courts.
