Biography
Ms. Maskall earned her Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, B.C., Canada, prior to attending California Western Law School in San Diego, California. After obtaining her Juris Doctorate, Ms. Maskall began her legal career in Washington, D.C., practicing in the areas of telecommunications, intellectual property and criminal law.
In 1997, Ms. Maskall relocated from Washington, D.C., to Las Vegas, Nevada, where she clerked for a District Court Judge in the Eighth Judicial District Court. In 1998, Ms. Maskall joined the firm of Dickerson, Dickerson, Consul & Pocker before joining Lee, Hernandez, Landrum & Carlson in 2003. While in Las Vegas, her practice areas included construction defect litigation, domestic, civil, criminal, and transactional law. She served as a Judge Pro Tem in North Las Vegas Justice Court for several years, commencing in 2007, and was a panel member on the State Bar of Nevada's Southern Nevada Disclipinary Committee for 12 years.
Ms. Maskall has been admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court and is a member of the New York State, Washington, D.C., Nevada, and Washington State Bars. Ms. Maskall co-authored “Perjury In Our Family Courts: Family Lawyers Beware!” and has received several awards for her contributions to the Clark County Legal Services Pro Bono Project, including Congressional Certificates of Recognition.
Ms. Maskall currently works as a Tribal Claims Officer for the State of Washington.
