Austin Kurtz concentrates his law practice particularly on plaintiffs’ personal injury litigation covering a variety of injury issues including sports injuries, motor vehicle accidents, negligence, and burns

An Arizona native born and raised in Scottsdale, Austin Kurtz concentrates his law practice on plaintiffs’ personal injury litigation, commercial litigation, and sports law. 
 
Prior to joining Aiken Schenk, Austin began his legal career as a litigation associate at an Am Law 200 law firm in Denver, Colorado. 
 
He has a business background, graduating from Barrett, The Honors College at Arizona State University with a dual major in Business Management / Entrepreneurship and Business Law from the W.P. Carey School of Business.  During his early years, Austin took a strong interest in the business of sports, focusing his honors thesis, A Deeper Relationship:an analysis of the sports agent-athlete relationship in modern society, on the interworking of the business. 
 
Austin uses prior studies in business and sports to bring a unique approach to the world of personal injury and the valuation of damages.   
 
He is licensed to practice in Arizona, Colorado, and California.
