Biography
Austin Mathis grew up in Odessa, Texas where he graduated from Odessa High School. After graduation, Austin enrolled at Angelo State University. A year later he transferred to Sul Ross State University where he played basketball and graduated with a Bachelor degree in Political Science and Pre-Law. Austin went on to receive a Master's degree in Public Administration and eventually accepted a full time lecturing position, teaching undergraduate and graduate level courses in Political Science and Public Administration. Before fulfilling his dream of attending Law School, Austin had the honor of becoming the Athletic Director for the Marathon Independent School District.
Austin attended Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing Michigan and graduated in 2010. After graduation, Austin started his own law practice in the San Antonio area before moving back home to become a Felony Prosecutor in the 244th Judicial District Court of Ector County, Texas.
Austin started working in private practice where he focused on insurance defense with the law firm of Kelly, Morgan, Dennis, Corzine & Hansen. After approximately 2 years, Austin accepted an Associate position with Webb, Stokes & Sparks where he was given the opportunity to represent individuals injured by the negligence of others.
Austin has dedicated his practice to helping individuals and representing injured plaintiffs in court. Austin has respect and passion for trial law.
