Biography
Austin W. Probst practices in the areas of probate, elder law, estate planning and civil litigation. Austin focuses his representation on families and individuals in resolving a wide variety of probate and civil disputes as well as estate planning and Medicaid planning matters. He is skilled in all areas of probate and trust administration and advises clients on important financial and emotional matters with a balance of knowledge, sensitivity, and precision.
Following his graduation from law school, Austin engaged in no-fault insurance defense work. However, prior to joining Kemp Klein Law Firm, Austin primarily practiced in the areas of probate, and estate planning.
Austin is a graduate of Wayne State Law School and is a recipient of the Law Dean’s Scholar Award as well as the Bockoff and Mall scholarship in Estate Planning. During law school, Austin contributed to Wayne Law Review as the Senior Note and Comment Editor and interned for the Honorable Patrick J. Duggan of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan.
