Beatriz Trejo is an associate attorney with Chain | Cohn | Clark, where she focus on workers’ compensation cases. She is a Certified Legal Specialist in Workers’ Compensation, and the recipient of the “Workers’ Compensation Young Lawyer of the Year” award in California. She is fluent in English and Spanish. 

She earned my bachelor’s degree in political science from CSU Bakersfield and her master’s degree in political science from CSU Northridge. At both universities, she was also a part of Pi Sigma Alpha, a national political science honor society. Beatriz earned her law degree from the University of Akron School of Law in Ohio.

She has practiced in front of the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board since 2012. As a former defense attorney, she is familiar with the inner workings of insurance companies, insurance carriers, and self-insured employers.

Beatriz is the past president of the Bakersfield chapter of the California Applicants' Attorney's Association, which advocates for injured workers.  She has been named as one of the 20 Under 40 People to Watch by Bakersfield Life Magazine, and has been selected as the 2017 winner of the “Young Workers’ Compensation Lawyer of the Year” by the State Bar Workers’ Compensation Section. She was also recognized by her peers in the “Top Attorneys” poll voted on by local lawyers, highlighting the best lawyers in their practice areas.
