Ben graduated from Hamilton College with a bachelor’s degree in Theater and earned his J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law. During law school, he worked with the innocence project, helping to exonerate the wrongly convicted through DNA testing and reform the criminal justice system to prevent future injustices.

Ben worked as an Assistant District Attorney in The Cape and Islands District Attorney’s Office where he specialized in domestic violence and substance abuse cases heading up the Drug Court. His experience as a prosecutor has made him a skilled litigator.

For the past 6 years he has been practicing in New York, focusing on family law and criminal defense. He has handled every type of family law case imaginable, including divorce/dissolution of marriage, allocation of parental responsibilities, child support, spousal maintenance, property division and post-decree matters.
