Biography
Before joining Wiggin and Dana, Ben practiced in the New York office of Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP, where he represented major financial institutions as a member of that firm's white-collar defense and securities litigation practices. Ben has experience in all facets of litigation, including drafting dispositive motions, managing discovery, and preparing for trial.
Ben clerked for the Honorable John M. Rogers on the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Ben also clerked for the Honorable Irma E. Gonzalez on the United States District Court, Southern District of California. In 2008, Ben received his J.D. summa cum laude from Washington University School of Law, where he was on the Washington University Law Review and winner of the school's moot court competition. He received an M.S. in Education from Mercy College and a B.A. from the University of Michigan.
Ben is admitted to practice in Connecticut, New York, the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
