Biography
- Brad's practice areas are: Electric Utility Law; Telecommunications Law; Cable Law; Government Affairs; and Insurance Administrative Law. He has represented clients before many state regulatory commissions, obtaining approvals for applications, mergers, and asset acquisitions involving large and small telecommunications companies and complex financings.
- In addition to regulatory and arbitration work before state utility commissions, Brad also represents clients in rulemakings and lobbying efforts. He has been an invited speaker and provided case law updates at the University of Texas Telecommunications, Cable, and Wireless Conference.
- Brad received his B.S. and J.D. degrees from Indiana University. During law school, he was an intern for Chief Justice Thomas Phillips of the Supreme Court of Texas, received the Best Oralist award in the school’s moot court competition, and served on the Editorial Staff of the Federal Communications Law Journal, the journal of the Federal Communications Bar Association. Prior to his legal career, Brad was a real estate broker and developer and served as a member of the Indiana House of Representatives from 1986 to 1994.
