Biography
Bradley A. Sacks has been admitted to practice before all of the New York State and Federal Courts since February 1978. He was admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States in May 2003. He is a sustaining member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association and the New York County Lawyers Association. He is a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, the New York Academy of Trial Lawyers and the National Police Accountability Project. In 2001, Mr. Sacks became a member of Trial Lawyers Care, a volunteer group of attorneys who provide representation for families of victims of the 9/11 attacks.
After graduating from Clark University in Worcester, Mass., with a B.A. in American History in May 1974, Mr. Sacks attended and graduated from Brooklyn Law School. He became an Assistant Corporation Counsel in the office of the Corporation Counsel of the City of New York, representing New York City and Mayor Edward Koch in significant Health Care, Tort and Contractual litigation in both Federal and State Courts. In June 1981 he joined Julien, Schlesinger & Finz, a plaintiff's litigation firm that was in the vanguard of medical malpractice litigation. In November 1987 he established his own firm. As a sole practitioner, Mr. Sacks has formed strategic relationships with other attorneys and firms, allowing for the flexibility to successfully accomplish complex litigation. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Professional Liability Attorneys.
A lifelong resident of Brooklyn, New York, Mr. Sacks lives in Park Slope with his wife and children.
