During a decade-long career as a criminal defense and family law attorney in his home town of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Brian’s own special needs led to constant inquiries regarding disability, elder law, and estate planning resulting in his decision to refocus his practice on serving the special needs community.

Brian received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Davidson College before earning a law degree from Campbell University’s Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law. He is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association’s estate planning division and takes pride in helping families navigate the complicated fields of elder law, special needs trusts, estate planning, and guardianship.
