Brian Nigohosian is a Partner at Nigohosian and Dahlquist P.C., in Wheaton Illinois. He concentrates his practice in Divorce, Child Custody, Child Support, Collaborative Law, Mediation, Family Law and Appeals. Mr. Nigohosian has handled a full range of matters related to Divorce and Family Law. Mr. Nigohosian is a former Assistant State’s Attorney with DuPage County where he tried an extensive number of felony cases over the course of his tenure in that office. Since that time he has had the opportunity to successfully try cases in every county within the Chicago Metropolitan area.

Mr. Nigohosian is known as a skilled litigator with the ability to assist his clients in moving toward the successful resolution of their cases. He works hard to establish trust-based relationships with each client, and provides the guidance necessary to get help them reach their goals. He employs an approach that provides his clients with the maximum amount of information with which to make informed decisions. While the majority of cases result in a settlement, he has found that the best approach is to prepare each case thoroughly, thus placing his clients in the strongest position possible to either settle, or litigate if necessary.

Mr. Nigohosian is a respected member of the bar and has participated in the Illinois Supreme Court Commission on Professionalism Mentoring Program, serving as a mentor to young attorneys who have recently graduated from law school. He has also presented continuing legal education to the DuPage County Bar Association Family Law Section. Mr. Nigohosian grew up in Chicago, and has lived in DuPage County for the past 26 years.

Mr. Nigohosian received his Bachelor of Arts degree from DePaul University in 1982. He then received his Juris Doctor degree from the John Marshall School of Law in 1986.
