Ms. Love joined Burt & Cordes in 2017 after over five years of litigation practice with Hartsell & Williams in Concord, North Carolina.

She now focuses primarily on domestic litigation, including divorce, equitable distribution, child custody and support, alimony and post separation support, and step-parent adoption. She has a broad background in litigation, including representing various municipal entities, the Department of Social Services, and criminal defense work as a court-appointed attorney. She also assists with debtor-creditor litigation. 

Ms. Love started her career teaching secondary mathematics at West Charlotte High School as part of Teach for America. When she is not in the courtroom, she spends her time as a Kiwanis advisor to several local high school Key Clubs, assisting with organizing and completing community service projects.
