Brooks M. Hazelton is the son of Gary M. Hazelton, founder of Hazelton Law Group. Brooks is the lead attorney in the Alaska office. He is licensed to practice law in both Alaska and Minnesota. His areas of practice focus on representing injured people and their families.

Brooks attended college at the University of Northern Colorado, majoring in psychology. Before attending law school Brooks worked as an Independent Landman for various oil and gas companies in the lower 48. Brooks graduated from Western State College of Law in Fullerton California. Prior to his admission to the Alaska and Minnesota Bars, Brooks clerked at Johnson and Combs P.C. in Anchorage. He also clerked at Hazelton Law Group in Bemidji Minnesota. Brooks is a member of the Alaska Association for Justice and actively on the Board of Governors. Brooks is also a member of the Minnesota Association for Justice.

In his free time, Brooks enjoys wood working, hunting, fishing and exploring the state of Alaska with his wife Lauren.
