For the first 18 years of my life, I lived in South Africa, under the Apartheid system.  I feel tremendous gratitude for the ability to live in this wondrous country of ours with liberty and equality under the law.   At times, I think one has to know what one does not have, in order to appreciate what one has.   

Freedom of association, religion, and speech.  The freedom to say what one wants and read what wants.  It is difficult, to articulate the wonderous feelings I had when I first walked into the University Research Library housing one of the greatest libraries in the United States aged 18.  To me, it was like landing in Oz.

We have a functioning judicial system, yes with its warts, but it is magnificient, with the right to Appeal, and the California Supreme Court's right to take up an Appeal.

As it says on the Supreme Court of the United States, Equal Justice under the Law.  I will fight for you, I will fight hard and leave no stone unturned.  We will work as a team, you as to the facts, as no-one knows the facts better than you, and me as to the law.  Litigation, to have a succesful outcome, requires teamwork.
