Doug Fitz-Simmons is an associate attorney with Chain | Cohn | Clark where he focuses on personal injury cases.

Doug graduated from Westmont College, and attended law school at Pepperdine University. He’s originally from Phoenix, AZ.

He has more than 25 years of experience working in insurance defense as a trial lawyer, and has tried more than 100 cases in front of jury. He worked for 17 years with Allstate Insurance and another 8 years at State Farm Insurance. This experience and deep understanding of the inner workings of insurance companies gives our injured clients an upper hand. And for his work, Doug has been awarded a “attorney of the year” honor for trial excellence out of 40 trial attorneys in a previous law firm.

Out of the office, Doug is involved with a human needs group that feeds the homeless community.
