Biography
C L Farrell, a native of Southern California, offers over 35 years of legal experience as an senior probate and trusts estate planning and litigation attorney. She established her law practice in San Bernardino County, catering to the needs of small businesses, families, and individuals. Known for her meticulous approach to legal analysis and creative problem-solving, C L provides expertise in reviewing, drafting, and amending wills and trusts and enforcing civil judgments.
C L has mediated probate and trust estate disputes and served as Chair and Arbitrator for the San Bernardino County Bar Association's Fee Arbitration Program. She served as Judge Pro Tempore for the San Bernardino County Superior Court in Family Law and Small Claims Court matters. She served as a mediator in the Civil Division and as Court appointed counsel in the Probate Division of the San Bernardino County Superior Court. She is a member of the Bar Associations of Orange, Riverside, and San Bernardino Counties and their respective Probate, Trusts and Estates sections.
C L holds a Bachelors Degree in English Literary Criticism & Theory from San Francisco State University and a Juris Doctor degree from Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco.
Upon relocating to San Bernardino, she served as Head of Reference of the San Bernardino County Law Library and developed hands-on computerized legal research training programs for lawyers and non-lawyer patrons.
In 2009, C L co-created the Fiduciary Management Certificate Program (formerly the Professional Fiduciary Management Certificate Program) for the University of California, Riverside Extension where she was an Advisory Board Member and Instructor. The program trains students to effectively manage the personal and financial affairs of individuals who are unable to do so for themselves. Students are prepared for the rigorous National and California Professional Fiduciary Exams required to become California Licensed Professional Fiduciaries.
In 2010, C L created and continues to chair the Advisory Committee for the Osborne-Whelan Endowed Rugby Academic Scholarship administered by UC San Francisco College of Law (formerly University of California Hastings College of the Law) in San Francisco.
Outside of law practice, C L enjoys exploring the outdoors; chasing the aurora borealis; creating and maintaining friendships abroad; learning Gaelic; and sailing.
