Calina Costa Plotky is an Associate Attorney with KF Law, LLC. Ms. Plotky’s practice
concentrates primarily on family law including, for example, divorce, child custody,
child support, modifications, alimony, palimony, contempt, prenuptial agreements,
and appeals.
Ms. Plotky received her bachelor’s degree from Georgia State University and
her Juris Doctor from John Marshall Law School. She is a member of the State
Bar of Georgia and admitted to practice in the State Courts of Georgia, the
Georgia Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Georgia. She practices all
over Georgia and regularly before the Superior Courts of Cobb County, Fulton County,
Fayette County, Coweta County, Spalding County, Cherokee County, and DeKalb County.
Ms. Plotky worked for Elkhalil Law, P.C. and practiced in the area of immigration
including, for example, detainee cases, citizenship applications, inadmissibility
waivers, and visas. She also practiced in the area of international business.
Thereafter, Ms. Plotky worked for Mr. Jeffrey Gilbert and practiced in the area
of personal injury and catastrophic workers’ compensation until joining
KF Law LLC in May 2017. At KF Law LLC, Ms. Plotky has excelled in the
area of family law and is well respected by judges and opposing counsels
alike. Ms. Plotky has established a family law appeal practice and has had
favorable outcomes in this difficult area of law.
Ms. Plotky is a dual citizen with citizenship from the United States and Brazil.
Growing up between these two countries afforded her the opportunity to learn
both English and Portuguese fluently, as well as be integrated in both cultures.
Ms. Plotky has a large family in Brazil, many of whom are attorneys and judges
actively involved in the local legal community.
