Mr. Andres Lopez practices in all areas of the U.S. Immigration and Nationality Law as an associate attorney at The Lopez Law Firm, PLLC. Being an immigrant himself from Medellin, Colombia, Mr. Lopez is passionate, committed, and an enthusiastic advocate for the immigrant community. He believes in helping the diverse immigration community achieve their unique American dreams which collectively emphasize on maintaining family unity, creating businesses, obtaining education, and weaving their cultural heritages into the rich rubric of the American society. Attorney Lopez understands and respects his client’s desire of having a direct relationship with their attorneys, and he prides himself on his accessibility and quality of work.

Attorney Lopez currently acts an assistant liaison to the American Immigration Lawyers Association’s USCIS Charlotte field office. Additionally, Mr. Lopez serves as the secretary of the Mecklenburg County Hispanic Latino Bar. He also actively serves the immigrant community by educating them on their rights and the rapidly evolving immigration laws and regulations.

In addition to his involvement at the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and the Mecklenburg County Hispanic Latino Bar, Attorney Lopez is also an active member of the North Carolina Bar Association, Mecklenburg County Bar Association, Mecklenburg County Bar Immigration Practice Section, and the Latin American Chamber of Commerce.
