Carolyn attended Florida International University, earning her Bachelor degree in Criminal Justice with a Minor in Psychology. She was on the Dean’s List and a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.

 Carolyn continued her studies at St. Thomas University School of Law, where she was on the Dean’s List and a member of the Moot Court Board. During law school, Carolyn was a Certified Legal Intern for Legal Aid family law division,where she researched family law issues, drafted motions, memos and agreements for divorce, paternity, and child support cases, and successfully argued motions for clients. Legal Aid is where her interest and passion for family law first started. 

Carolyn went on to receive her J.D. and was admitted to practice law in Florida. Currently, Carolyn is a member of the Family Law section and Young Lawyers Division of the Florida Bar and the First Family Law Inns of Courts.
