Prior to joining the Law Offices of Karp, Wigodsky, Norwind, Kudel & Gold, P.A. as a personal injury and criminal defense associate, Ms. Demougeot worked as criminal defense attorney for three years at Jezic & Moyse, LLC.  Additionally, just out of law school, Ms. Demougeot served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Beverly J. Woodard of Prince George’s County Circuit Court.

Thereafter, Ms. Demougeot worked in immigration law practicing exclusively deportation defense. There, she represented clients in both Arlington, VA and Baltimore, MD immigration court, with a focus on asylum cases, unaccompanied minor (Special Immigrant Juveniles status) cases and cancellation cases.

Ms. Demougeot received her law degree from Wake Forest University School of Law in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. During law school she gained experience as a Student Attorney by participating in the Innocence and Justice clinic, where she worked to prove the innocence of an inmate serving life in prison, interning at the Forsyth County State’s Attorney’s office and Legal Aid.

Ms. Demougeot earned her Bachelor's degree from Vassar College, where she played four years of varsity soccer, and was captain for three of the four years.
