Carrie Ayn Smith is an Associate with the Lumi Law Firm, LLC, offering several years of family law,criminal, and civil litigation experience.

Prior to joining the Lumi Law Firm, LLC, Ms. Smith was an Associate at the Law Office of Darren C. O'Toole, where she regularly argued before the Superior Court of New Jersey in the Family Part as well as several municipalities and appeared on a variety of matters, including orders to show cause final restraining order hearings, motions, and more. Ms. Smith is admitted to practice New Jersey and is a member of the New Jersey Bar Association.

Before entering into practice, Ms. Smith was the Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Lawrence R. Jones, J.S.C. in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Ocean County, Family Division. During her time as a Law Clerk for the Honorable Lawrence R. Jones, J.S.C., Ms. Smith gained significant experience and knowledge across a variety of areas of family law and criminal law including domestic violence, matrimonial trial and motion practice, child support, child custody, relocation, alimony and emergent matters, criminal and municipal court litigation including DWI matters.

Ms. Smith graduated cum laude from Seton Hall University School of Law where she competed as a member of the Seton Hall Law Mock Trial Board.

Carrie Ayn Smith was born and raised in Toms River, New Jersey. She has lived in Ocean County all her life.
