Biography
Carrie Nguyen was born in Vietnam and moved to Dallas when she was 10 years old. She graduated from The University of Texas and earned her law degree from Texas Tech School of Law. Carrie is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the Dallas Bar Association’s Immigration Law Section.
As an immigrant herself, Carrie understands how important your immigration issue is to you and your family. The immigration process can be difficult and stressful. You deserve a knowledgeable and trustworthy lawyer who genuinely cares about your case. Carrie’s passion is helping immigrants to fight deportation and ultimately to obtain legal status. She has successfully represented clients before the USCIS and immigration courts across the country on matters such as bond hearing, deportation defense, and complex green card and citizenship cases.
She has spoken on various immigration topics at the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA)'s national conference, AILA-Texas Chapter's conference, and local presentations hosted by the Dallas Bar Association. Carrie loves the immigrant community of her DFW hometown and often dedicates pro-bono services to nonprofit organizations including Catholic Charities, JFON, and the North Texas Dream Team.
