Catherine R. Spalluzzi is an associate with Brown & Barron, LLC. Her practice primarily centers around Nursing Home Negligence and Medical Malpractice. Prior to her time at Brown & Barron, Catherine worked for a mid-sized litigation defense firm and also completed a clerkship with the Honorable Keith R. Truffer in the Circuit Court for Baltimore County.

While in law school, Catherine served as the Production Editor of the University of Baltimore Law Review. She was also on the Moot Court Board, served as a LAW Scholar for Professor Gregory Dolin, and completed a judicial internship with the Honorable Lynne A. Battaglia on the Maryland Court of Appeals.

Catherine is admitted to practice law throughout the state of Maryland. She is currently a member of the Maryland Association for Justice (MAJ), the Maryland State Bar Association (MSBA), the Baltimore County Bar Association (BCBA), and the Bar Association of Baltimore City (BABC).

In both 2020 and 2021 Catherine was honored as a Super Lawyers Rising Star, an award given out to no more than 2.5% of Maryland lawyers.
