Biography
I grew up in Thomasville, Georgia. I graduated from Episcopal High School in 1996, and then attended Rhodes College, where I received my Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in 2000. I received my Juris Doctor (JD) degree (cum laude) from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University in 2004. While at Mercer, I was a member of the Law Review and Moot Court Board. After graduating from law school, I was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 2004 and practiced law in Atlanta, Georgia with Troutman Sanders, LLP, one of the oldest and largest law firms in Georgia.
In 2006, my wife and I decided to move to Valdosta, Georgia to be closer to family, and I began working with Coleman Talley LLP. I am a member of the board of directors of The Greater Valdosta United Way and serve as an attorney coach for Valwood School’s mock trial team.
My practice consists almost entirely of civil litigation work, including the following areas:
- Insurance coverage and defense
- Professional negligence
- Appellate litigation
- Product liability
- Personal injury
- Municipal law
- Construction litigation
- Civil rights defense litigation
- Trade secrets litigation
- Commercial litigation
- Electronic Discovery and Data Management
- Mediation and Arbitration
I am Martindale-Hubbell Rated AV® Preeminent™.
I offer free initial consultations on all legal matters, so feel free to contact me regarding any legal issue you may have. If I cannot assist you for any reason, I can almost always find an attorney who can.
